Great Pipes, he said

If you're going to make it in any business, especially this one, you've got to be able to toot your own horn. Just got off the phone with Brian Vouglas, the actor who played Pierre and made many impressive monster-like sound effects in the podcast recording of "The Lighted Bridge" on Saturday. Brian keeps saying, "You have great pipes!" He's not kidding. He gave me a couple of leads into an agency in San Francisco and said I should use his name. As my friends know, I follow every lead.

I will always remember what Brian said. But, there's more. He suggested that I also have the voice quality of Maria Callas. "Well, Brian, maybe with a little voice training," said I. Maria Callas? Moi?

Thanks, Brian!
