Lakshmi

My pal G. says I must call upon the power of Lakshmi in my career. Graceful and charming, she is that beautiful Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, and generosity. Notice the wealth of details in this painting. She wears gold brocade edged silk chiffon. Sits on a lotus flower. Holds an important-looking vase. Lakshmi absolutely drips with bling and is drowning in gold coins.

I was in India recently for D's wedding. Many pujas were said in my presence, some for my benefit, at ancient sacred places like Tirumala and Tirupati, in many temples. These are my hands at the wedding.

I have undergone many transformations since that trip, and evolution is still at work...
