Vanda Mikoloski
My friend who goes to a new age old-timer-ish church suggested I might enjoy the comedy night fundraiser for the Joy Choir. She was right. Check out Vanda Mikoloski, the kinda lapsed Catholic, incredibly cerebral, funny, not new-age, but tried it and came back comedienne.
The best part for me, after the marvelous belly laughs to her stand-up, was hearing what it's really like to try to be creative while living in L.A.
