A Juggler's Dilema

Since I've been writing this blog I have juggled a few freelance writing jobs, but all summer they have been slow to come. When a serious recruiter called me this morning for a short-term electronic medical records training gig (I do Epic EMR training, which can tie in quite well with acting), I knew that if it comes through, I must absolutely take it. But, if I do that work - which can be quite demanding and time consuming - will it throw a wrench into my current run of fun auditions and gigs?

My Tante Laura (above, right, with friends and my grandfather, Arnold in hat), a beautiful, smart and wise Jamaican immigrant to New York whose birthday would be tomorrow, the 11th, lived to be a spry and lively 99. Her motto, well before it became popularized in song, was, "don't worry, be happy." So, I won't ... and I will
.

Happy Birthday, Tante Laura!
