Wasn't able to do a write-up of our last rehearsals Monday and Tuesday nights for "Real Women Have Curves." That's because I was swamped with a straight world job in Redwood City. A job that deserves its own blog, as a friend suggested....that would be the blog about the end of the world as we know it for the American worker. In my vision, tech writers like me will hang out in the mall parking lot and wait for major institutions who need our services by the hour or by the warm body to come and pick us up in a bright green van and drive us to the workplace, pay us at the end of the day in a strong foreign currency, then drop us off late at night, so the authorities don't see us. At that point, we will all walk down to the tunnel under the highway or near a reservoir somewhere, lay down our weary heads on our work binders and sleep til the next morning when it will all begin again at dawn.
Oh, but let me tell you about tonight: It's the dress rehearsal. It starts at 7 PM.
Hope you can come. Next opportunity is Friday and Saturday, 7:30 PM. There's a Mexican fiesta after the show on Saturday night! There's an art show in the space at the Petaluma Arts Council, too.
More to come....gotta go catch up with 4 days of my life as a human being.
