A Christmas Carol in Danville

It was a solid production by director Meredith Meeks, co-founder of A Muse Productions. I sat next to an elegant local couple, serious theater supporters. She looks glam, he Hollywood. During the intermission Ms. Meeks came up to me, as I sat center orchestra, second row. She said she had recognized me in the audience. Well, it wasn't a big crowd. But, I have to admit it's nice to be recognized...Of course, she remembered my headshot and resume. So, we chatted briefly. A good connection!

Stephanie, the gal who played Mrs. Dickens, teaches theater and has been acting for decades, although she looks pretty young. I am not sure I could have pulled off that role. Not only did she have to act, but she had to sing and dance, too. She handled an assortment of British accents as well as some major fighting action on the floor. Wow!
