Caregiver TV
I recall the brief conversation with my mother late last week, when she asked me, "So, what are we doing this weekend?" When Tommy Maples, a cool director I had worked with successfully in the past called on Saturday afternoon to ask if I'd be available Sunday to be interviewed regarding my views on being a caregiver...well, you can guess the rest. I proposed a shoot with my teensie-weensy nonagenarian mum involved. That was Sunday. It was great! We did our best work in a long time as mother-daughter, and I think we both gave the production what they were after, and more. All thanks to Tommy and his amazing cameraman, Jason Joseffer, who made us feel like stars in a shimmering diamond sky.
This will launch as part of a series of public service-style commercials shot as news footage on health and health-related issues like care giving. Assuming all goes well, our spot will air on a top early morning TV program throughout California this fall.
