New moon, new chapter, new agent

Back from my latest 725-mile round trip to the southland. Fortunately, the talent agent I met is off Van Nuys, so not that deep into LA. I holed up at another deal hotel by the airport, stayed up way too late watching the hilarious "Bruno," but forced myself to go to sleep before 2 AM. What a perfect movie to watch the night before an audition!

Everything went swimmingly. I got there 20 minutes early. The agency was very impressed that I drove down from the East Bay to meet them. My audition entailed an interview and a cold read of a commercial I had actually seen, for a home office products purveyor. I think I was funny. They had me leave for about an hour because they were seeing two other actors, then had me come back and offered me the deal after talking me through the parameters of their business operations and high expectations.

I have read the fine print and I approve. Best part, I get to keep my current agent to rep me in the Bay Area. So, now I'm covered on the West Coast.
