White coat

It was a breeze getting to Beau Bonneau Casting for the medical commercial audition. I brought along my first doctor's lab coat, to which I attached my new medical penlight. Hope the small investment pays off at some point. I am finally going to start building my uniform wardrobe. Noticed that at least three of the women auditioning were in either scrubs or white coats.

The script was very epidemiologist jargon-y but the task was to make it sound conversational and low key. Not easy. Then, after being given a bit of direction - something I love - for some reason, I got nervous. My actress pal says getting nervous before a play is a good sign. Don't know if same applies to an audition for a commercial. Anyway, I'll call what happened today white coat stage fright.
