What were the demons that pushed the beloved actor Philip Seymour Hoffman over the edge? Will we ever know?

I am really sad about this. He was one of my favorite actors. I always left his films in awe of his nuanced talent.

My heart goes out to his wife, Mimi O'Donnell, their three children, and the rest of the family.
