And now, it's October...

I shot this on a hospital set a few years ago.  The video featured me as a nurse.

A pause in the action. This shoot took place in 2010.

Been too busy to post, but I'm back now. The two alluring events this month are next week's two-day shoot for a major hospital, where I'll reprise my old role as Spanish-speaking medical expert, and next week's audition for Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park" in Alameda. For the medical shoot, I'll wear the white lab coat I bought about a year ago, just knowing it would be useful one day. This will be a long day at a San Francisco studio, with an outrageously long script filled with Spanish tongue twisters. Now that I've mastered the basic pronunciation while working with a translator from Spain, it's all going to be about stamina. Getting up at dawn with clear eyes and mind, driving across the Bay Bridge while it's under repair, making it through an 8-hr. shoot, and getting home in time to wind down and do it all over again the next day. And, yeah, I teach the night of the second day's shoot. Bring me java, java, and more java!
