A Taste of Bollywood?

Today was tough. Twelve hours on the set for the extras in Sacramento, in front of the bright white Capitol building. In the broiling sun, amplified by fill lights. Standing for hours at a time in orderly rows, ready at the shout of an AD to burst into enthusiastic cheers, while things - unexplained to us - went on between the director and crew. Dehydration, sunburn, incomplete directions...and, in the background, across the street, and for real, hundreds of female fans of Sharkhur Khan and his female co-star go positively ga ga every time they walk back to their trailer under their personal umbrella-holder's shade....Did it make the evening news? Let me know.

This event continues tomorrow, but I just can't do it. We were asked to return, wear same outfits, and recruit a friend. They really need extras tomorrow. Get in touch with Beau Bonneau Casting if this looks like something you'd like to try.

I'll post more soon about my day on "My Name is Khan"...after I get a good night's sleep and digest my impressions of this exotic homeland experience.
