Been so busy editing in corporateville I don't yet know if my friend Sukanya Sarkar or I made the final cut in "My Name is Khan" by Karan Johar, starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. I may check it out this week and get back to you. Meanwhile, read the NYT review above and click on the title go get to the official website. Looks like a hit!

Wikipedia has this to say about the Box Office:

"The film broke box office records during its opening weekend. It ranked #5 in the overseas box office with Avatar, Valentine's Day, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and The Wolfman, in the first, second, third, and fourth spots.[34] By the end of the first three days, the film grossed Rs 550 million (US$ 11.91 million) globally, and grossed INR 853.8 million (US$ 18.5 million) worldwide by the end of the first week. In addition, on a global scale, "almost every record for Bollywood films was broken globally. Internationally, it is the biggest International opening day by almost 30% of its closest competitor, 3 Idiots." [35]. The film also went on to gross the second highest worldwide opening weekend for a Bollywood film."
