Just got off the phone with my peer, Joe. We're both in the southland, doing our thing. He reminded me how we actors have to continually focus. So, my task today - while housesitting at my cousins' and caring for two fabulous dogs - is to get back to my lines. Meanwhile, I'm also super excited about this new audition opportunity I've been praying for. The sides and reqs for the audition for this French film to be directed by the son of an icon from La Nouvelle Vague ...requires me to be a fluent French-speaking American. I am that!
I have been trying to track down my local directors to have someone record me on tape, then we'll have to upload the audition file by Friday, 6 PM.
Looking forward to my second rehearsal of the week for "The Little Nebbish" tonight with our director playing my b'friend... Author Eliza Gale has asked me to channel Carrie Bradshaw for my character, Heather, an office worker. Now Heather is mean and bitchy by day, but "Sex and the City" seductive by night.
Will this require new shoes?
