Casting for a certain age

Got a call from my agent to audition for a print and video ad as someone suffering from osteoarthriits. What synergy! I was just critiquing my latest video, and thinking that I looked a little stiff....Have not been swimming much recently, need to limber up. Now I get to stay a little stiff for a higher purpose.

Then, I got a call regarding the lead in a film...the director wanted to hear a bit more about my age. I gave him the lowdown on my range - 39 to 109 - depending on time of day. If I get this one, it will be very interesting, for many reasons. It's my turn to play a primary character in a film, I can tell you that much.
