Japanese TV in San Francisco
Several Bay Area actors I know have gotten gigs with the Japanese TV production company that produces "The World's Most Astonishing News!" a show airing in Japan, shot locally in English, that uses subtitles. Back in my acting infancy, I auditioned for the role of a blonde, wearing a wig, and that did not work out. Tomorrow I get another chance - this time to try to recapture the image of a woman who undergoes a bone transplant. Judging from the photo provided by the casting folks, she and I could be sisters. Except that her hair is gray and mine is colored a dark henna-like auburn. They can probably provide a temporary spray to match my color to hers, if I get the part. Wish me luck!
