The crowd was tough last night. Someone said, "they're very educated smilers." Well, I said, "just wait 'til the card game scene, then we'll know whether or not they enjoy the play." As I had expected, the card game scene was hilarious and the audience let it rip, and we ended on a high note. My scenes with Ket Watters and Jim Gasperini brought laughs in the expected places, and that's such a wondrous sharing of energy for me.
Hugs all around afterwards, and the opportunity to chat with audience in the lobby.
This is so much fun! I hate to see it end after today's performance.
