Missing stories

No, you're right! I never told you about my little adventure to Santa Rosa, CA, a couple of weeks ago, where I went alone on a site inspection, a half-day excursion, for Cabaret Crème, and found out that the private clubhouse we will perform in next month is ideal in many ways for our French entertainment team. That the other side of town also has its sad aspects, exemplified by folks sitting outdoors at the chain cafe, one woman bravely begging for change, is a tale of our times I'd love inspromotional (my new word) POTUS to visit. On the bright side, on Yulupa, I drove by a co-housing building, looking from the outside like Southwest modern, in hues of earth and copper - unfortunately, but logically, planted across the street from a basic, boring strip mall. Truth is, the verdant hills, charming old farmhouses, and twisty, narrow roads of Sonoma Valley belie the reality of a place that contrasts with the cultural landscape of a technology-oriented California just two hours south.
