Today I play a patient in a series of short medical videos. I am to wear my capri pants and T-shirt under the medical gown. It didn't dawn on me til after I was cast that I am actually playing a senior citizen, as these videos are short compliance pieces to help doctors understand Medicare reimbursement, legal issues, and such.
There will be lots more work for actors in medical training, no matter which way the healthcare debate swings.
