A few words from Pat's Oakland Tribune review:
"...It's a play that tiptoes fairly deep into the theater of the absurd, pays brief homage to the likes of Becket and Albee, and becomes somewhat prophetic as Guare expresses a belief that celebrity worship and the quest for fame at any price and for any reason may be the country's undoing."
AND
"Director Margot Abbott has paced the play well and used the clever Sue Trigg set to its fullest, which keeps the performers moving and gives them plenty to do. Marshall and Lafer perform wonderfully, working hard to tame Kaplan's vicious and mean zookeeper. And Kaplan does a fine job playing a character that is about as unpleasant as you find."
