Mission Accomplished

What's in the cards?

I'm but a shadow of things to come.

My little mission accomplished today: here's to life in the Mission in San Fran and its taste of Mexico, where I went for my audition at the crumbling under renovation Brava Theater, in front of a few serious young wimmin with a quiet, perfunctory demeanor. I read for the part of Nina Spicer, the jaundiced gay novelist, with a lovely young gal - a good reader - with long black hair, good energy, and serious eyes.

Before there were SUVs there was art.

While I wait to hear anything, here's a bit of local color from my short afternoon across the Bay. I shot these images with my Panasonic Lumix 10X near York, and on Potrero, between 24th and 25th.

I took this in homage of Andrew, my guitar teacher.
