Too soon to tell how good or not good this is. I've been reading Lira's blog, The Struggling Actress
http://thestrugglingactress.blogspot.com/, and that's how I clued into this one, Actors Access. Lira being this cute young actress with great curly hair who really is striving to make it in LA, while working as a waitress. She reminds me of myself in my 20's. Except that then I was into directing, not acting, and I lived in Manhattan, worked in production.
Here are my first acting opportunities (so far, free, after filling in my profile, uploading photos, and creating a resume), matched up to me (by bot, no doubt) opportunities -
It's 2-buck chuck - $2 per submission, if you don't join this service at the annual fee, $68. Not so free.
Isn't this what my agent is supposed to be doing? Finding me gigs?
I won't apply for these below, as the pay is ridiculously low and they are non-speaking parts. Goddess gave me a voice, and she wants me to use it!
