Driving

Some days you just have to drive til you drop. This week in one day, I drove about 250 miles - for an audition - for work - and,  to hear my friends Kathleen McClung and Lizette Wanzer, winners of Poets 11 (honored by the Friends of the SF Public Library) - reading at Litquake, introduced by North Beach poet Jack Hirschman. Just another lively day in the arts.

As for the audition - everything seemed charmed. I arrived exactly on time,  found a parking lot right next to the corporate venue,  got to read with a smart young actress,  was auditioned by a lovely director, and it was a good hair day. Allowed to appear on-camera wearing my glasses - a first. Glare, schmare!
