Nuns Invade Berkeley Rep: The Lighted Bridge

Kristin Cato has added a trio of nuns to the third chapter of her podcast, "The Lighted Bridge," which we recorded at a studio at Berkeley Rep today. We are Spanish nuns, played by Diana, who works in IT at the Rep, and hails from Colombia; and hard-working actress Gretchen Olivero; and Character Actress Launching, who is beginning to feel typecast in these habits. In today's episode, the excitable nuns, on a star-gazing trip to the beach, discover the frozen body of Charlotte washed up on the rocks.

Byron Lambie and Esther Mamet are our sage-sounding narrators, Lisa Lindsley gurgles and hums strange frozen and thawing Charlotte sounds, Karl-Heinz Teuber portrays Sigmund Freud, and a new member to the production, Kelsey, plays the flute. Sorry I couldn't stay for that part of the recording...I almost got to sing "Ave Maria" again, too, but we ran out of time.
