Casting Call
There's a casting call - ALL OUT - for actors in my town for a theater season, 2010. Audition in a few days.
I'll let you know how serious this is, afterwards, I promise. First ad came out on Craigslist. Second slew on www.sfcasting.com. I always find it fascinating to watch the progression of calls for talent.
A Movie
Have you seen Lee Daniels' "Precious"? I encourage you to run over and screen this important film about the degradation of the species. It takes place in a gritty, grimy, NYC, in 1986. I remember it well. Fortunately, I was in a slightly better neighborhood...
The ACTING IS POWERFUL. Thank you, Oprah Winfrey, for producing such a raw vision and intimate diary about how far one can fall without love. And how far one may rise and reclaim dignity and a future in its presence.
